Dr. Jeff Dowis
Dr. Dowis received medical degree from the University Health Sciences, followed by an internship at the Medical College of Georgia and a residency at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Dowis is a Flight Surgeon in the Air Force Reserve. Growing up in Habersham County, Dr. Dowis understands the importance of ensuring quality medical care to our area and maintaining a community hospital.
In his free time, Dr Dowis loves spending time with his family, golfing, and flying airplanes.
Dr. Lindsay Fowler
Dr. Fowler grew up in North Carolina and went to undergrad at Chapel Hill. She completed her medical training at GA-PCOM in Suwannee and residency training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Fowler is board certified in Family Medicine, and her passion for Family Medicine comes from personal relationships with patients of all ages. She believes that small communities deserve dedicated medical focus and most enjoys serving in smaller, rural settings.
She loves being a mom and doctor. When she’s not doing these things she enjoys running and learning to golf.
Haley Stapleton- Family Nurse Practitioner
Haley is an original “Dahlonega Nugget”, born at the local Chestatee Hospital. She has three children and a husband who serves in the Air Force Reserve. Haley received her undergraduate degree from South University in Tampa, FL and received a Masters of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Her nursing back ground is in Emergency Services, and she is trained in family practice as well.
She loves spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
Allison Tanner- Family Nurse Practitioner
Allison Tanner completed her undergraduate degree from Darton College and State University in both nursing and business administration. She received a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has seven years professional nursing experience specializing in critical care and pediatrics, and is board certified in Family Practice.
Allison is a loving wife and mother. She enjoys shopping, traveling, event planning and crafting.
Lindsay Seagraves- Family Nurse Practitioner
Lindsay attended nursing school at Brenau University, Gainesville, GA, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor in Science of Nursing. She then began her nursing career at Northeast Georgia Medical Center where she worked in one of the states first solo Heart Failure dedicated units. In 2011 she became the hospital’s first nurse certified by the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses. In 2014 Lindsay graduated from Mercer University’s Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, Atlanta, GA, with her Master in Science of Nursing concentrating in Family Medicine.
Lindsay is married and the mother of 4 wonderful children. She enjoys spending time with her family and baking. Her goal as a Nurse Practitioner is to provide comprehensive, quality health care to her community and those in need.
